Meet the FamJam

The Trew Family

A loving, but quirky bunch - just like yours!

The Trew Crew

Each family has its own unique history because each family is unique. It’s a very British trait to maintain a stiff upper lip and not share too much about a) what’s going on in our lives and b) what’s happening inside the four walls of our homes. I will expand upon this in my blog. So *drum roll* without further ado, let me introduce you to my family. Here's a 'lil taste of Team Trew as it was in the '50s, '60s and '70s.

FROM THE SOUTH COAST WITH LOVE

While “The Trew Crew” had their share of chaos, it all unfolded in the seaside city of Brighton & Hove — a place known for pebbled beaches, unpredictable seagulls, and just enough eccentricity to shape a writer. I went to The Knoll School in Hove, survived the '70s, and looked forward to the '80s. Much better music, as I liked punk rock and New Romantic electro stuff. This city didn’t just raise me. It witnessed me — and probably sighed in relief when I left.
